This cross, unlike the other poodle crosses out there, produces shed free dogs 100% of the time because NEITHER parent breed sheds. Not only does this make the cross ideal for allergy sufferers, this particular mix is well known for use as a therapy dog. Our size range should fall between 30 & 50 pounds at adult weight and 17-23 inches. That perfect medium size to still fit in your lap.

One notable difference in this cross, is their intolerance to heat. The Soft Coated Wheaten does not tolerate very warm temperatures well and this is true of the Whoodles as well. If temps are hot outdoors they will seek out a shady spot but really prefer to be in the air-conditioned indoors instead.
Many Whoodles love water because many Wheatens and Poodles love water.

The grooming requirements of the Whoodle is the same as for the Poodle.
